Spike, My Story

Spike

Spike Spike Before I got to my forever home!

Hi, my name is Spike.

You wouldn't know it, but not too long ago I was a dog who had no home. No one really knows what happened. How could anyone part with me? My Mom and Dad certainly can't imagine who wouldn't want me. I came with many scars, and I have had some tough knocks, but I'm not telling about it because things are so good now, it's like the bad times never happened! Since I've come home things have been quite nice!

I'm a real clown and love to entertain. My parents and their friends love to play with me and laugh at all my jokes. They especially like when I turn on the television so I can watch my favorite shows! I even got to go snow plowing with my Dad this winter, boy is that fun! Being a Boxer, I am a comedian by nature. I do something to amaze and entertain every day. My goal is always a smile.

I have a huge fenced in back yard to play in a big pal next door to play with. There's kids and cats and my parents have lots of friends come by. What a life. I can sleep on Daddy's lap in the recliner...or on the couch...or in the bed...or well, anywhere that I want to!

Did I mention I have my own den in my Mom and Dad's room, complete with my own blankets and sky lights? I have my own toys and get to leave them wherever I want...I get treats and hugs...boy oh boy have I come a long way!

What a lucky guy I am that Sonja and SAP rescue came to my rescue. I don't think of what may have become of me if they hadn't...Thank you Sonja! You found me the best family a dog could ask for!

Love,
Spike
