Our family dog, Judd. He is just a year old, we took him on his first camping trip. He seemed to enjoy himself constantly running about and playing. At night he was insistant on sleeping with us instead of his bed. We just assumed that it was just because the enviroment was different. However, we started paying closer attention to his behavior. He never strayed far and always kept an eye on us. If anyone walked off he was running and checking on them. We soon realized he was hearding us. He was protecting his family and keeping us together. By night fall, he was exhausted. Us girls had went to shower and after making many attempts to follow he came back to camp with the men. By the time we came back from showering he had worn himself out. He climbed up in a chair and went to sleep. Poor baby was exhausted. After a week of camping we came home and slept for two days only getting up to eat and potty. It was cute. And it just goes to show....they love you and will do anything to keep their family safe!!! |
