"Roxy"
Clayton from Virginia wanted us to know about his hero Roxy, a beautiful little girl who was smart enough to protect him in the middle of the night. According to Clayton, Roxy is a lover not a barker...but when she scared off an intruder in the middle of the night who was trying to break in the house she sure was a hero! Hooray Roxy!!! W'ere hoping dad gave you a big hug and a couple of extra treats the next day!
"Boobear" Scott from Rhode Island told us about his hero "Boobear", a 5 year old female. Scott works as a landscaper and spends a large portion of his day alone and Boobear often tags along. On this particular day she was enjoying the sun while dad tinkered with some lawn equipment. Before Scott realized what was happening, Boobear was up and running towards the company truck (parked a few hundred feet down the street). Scott was shocked to see two teenage boys running down the street and the front door of his truck hanging wide open! Boobear must have made an impression on the would be car thiefs...Scott never saw them again and today he locks his doors...no matter how close he is! Good job Boobear!
