Those Silly Little Things That Define The Boxer

One of the more common of the boxer characteristics...Happy boxer under the covers

Boxer characteristics? I know this part because I live it everyday. It really doesn't matter what mood I happen to be in...my boxer pulls out the stops with some of the funniest (and silliest) boxer characteristics...

Boxer's Have Been Known To...

  • Snore loudly with their eyes wide open

  • Pass horrific gas (and act just as suprised as you!)

  • Hop around like bunnies only to stop, look behind them and resume hopping

  • Shadow box by moving front paws up and down in a fighter's "jab-like" motion

  • Fall over completely when you rub the ears for more than a few seconds

  • Insist on lying on top (not next) to whomever (human or animal)is around

  • Become extremely jealous of any attention given to other pets, resulting in headbutting

    • Generally, Boxer characteristics are pretty much the same...they are extremely loyal and thrive on the companionship they have with their owners.

    One thing to keep in mind if your thinking of getting a Boxer is that they demand an enormous amount of

    attention and love.

    And that goes twice for those of you who have other pets in your family.

    Don't make the mistake of thinking that all boxers are perfect little angels...

    there are still those Bad, Bad Boxers who just love to get into places and things they don't belong!

    If you are willing to dedicate a lot of energy to laughing, playing and a little cleaning (yes, it's true, they are messy eaters) then a Boxer is the perfect dog for you! And I can promise you that whatever boxer characteristics you run across, they will be charming!
