My White Boxer and Me: How We Got Started and Where We Hope To GoSo Here's a little bit about my site, my white boxer Blizzard and what we hope to accomplish.
I started "Planet-Boxer" in March of 2007. I had absolutely NO experience with building or designing websites...but was looking for a way to share my experiences and passion for boxers with the world.
After surfing the internet one day, I ran across an ad for "Sitesell"- an amazing opportunity to create your own website. Wait...I know what your thinking...this isn't a ploy to sell you anything, but simply a story about how I got started and a plug for a fantastic business opportunity. (Im still working on a page where you can get information about sitesell, but in the meantime you can google it and find it on the web) After researching a little (a lot actually!) and deciding to give it a shot...I began building my site. In little time I had over 40 pages! (it's hard work, updating and learning code, but the sitesell program makes it really easy) Was I surprised at all the great feedback I received...and some of the heartwarming e-mails people sent sharing their stories about their pet boxers. (I even have a page for people to send me stories of why they think their boxer is a hero)

Having a website is important because I want everyone who visits my site to understand why boxer dogs are such amazing animals, and more importantly... understand the importance of why boxers are more than just "another dog" And my page on the white boxer... click here is even more important for educating the public on the myths surrounding the white boxer. Hundreds of boxer breeders participate in euthanasia, or the practice of putting down those boxers that are born white. As a proud parent of a fabulous, energetic and healthy white boxer, I hold a special place in my heart for those boxers born without the typical brown or caramel colored patches. As a matter of fact, my white boxer "Blizzard" (the one all over this site) was rescued from a trash bag!
I love the interaction I get from people who either own white boxers or just love the breed. I hope to continue providing information as well as fun stuff to read and videos to laugh at.
